  2. This is why I got rid of my aftermarket business. I was always honest about the products, which was that most of them didn’t offer half the performance gains they claimed or worse actually reduced performance. However, I soon realized most of the customers had already made their minds up and didn’t want to hear. They’d then go buy the product from someone who said I was wrong and the product would deliver as advertised. Basically, most modders are more interested in bragging rights on paper and looks. For example, most cars’ handling can be improved with much smaller wheels, but few want to hear that or do that.
