Moreover, Chelsea Manning is the hero who got all the docs and paid the price (Assange just got all the credit and fame while acting like he was the greatest hacker of all time). Assange is/was an ego maniac doing it for clout/fame. Just look at this behavior. Everyone who has ever dealt with him hates him, from his fellow associates to even his saviors, the Ecuadorians.
