For those calling Chicago scum/didn’t even bother to watch the videos, Chicago’s homicide rate is actually only the 9th worst (+ less than half that of Baltimore or St. Louis) and it’s 24th in violent crimes. However, due to its size, it racks up the biggest body count and that gets headlines. We’ve got terrible systematic problems, but the idea that Chicago’s impoverished areas are the worst of the worst is simply wrong. And for all the MAGA HATS saying see this is what happens when you elect democrats. No, it’s the result of shifting all our country’s wealth to a tiny elite and leaving no opportunity for people to pull themselves up by the bootstraps. Democrats have been complicit too, but the republicans are gleeful in their pursuit of greed while claiming to be Christians. SMH
