  3. Minneapolis + Detroit don’t even make the top 10: 1. ATL 2. DFW (Dallas) 3. DEN 4. ORD (Chicago) 5. LAX 6. JFK 7. LAS (Vegas) 8. Orlando 9. Miami 10. Charlotte. O’Hare was 1 for a while was trading the title w/ATL and DFW, but changes to the industry have changed that a bit.

  4.  @mikeh892  Denver is the worst with that stupid tram system. Chicago has been really dumb not investing making the airport really nice. They’ve got an amazing downtown that is great for tourists, but haven’t considered the image the airport portrays. But they’re doing an $8 billion renovation. They’ve already finished the expanded runways, control towers, etc. Next comes the part everyone will notice. The terminals.

  5.  @sparkieT88  Indeed, rankings can change drastically by metric. By most takeoffs & landings, it was #2 in the world. ATL was #1 in passengers from 1998-2021. The growth of South and Central America have fueled its growth.
