  4.  @Ikelae  the Japanese never had mass armor assaults, at Kolkan Gol (sp) they were charging Russians with trucks and infantry rushes. Their advantage was in air and naval power as well as superior logistics. Their strongest army group, the Kwantung army were outnumbered something like 10 to 1 versus the Soviets. The Chinese were also not truly equipped with armor and were heavily disjointed in terms of command so tanks were a rarity in the Pacific mainland
