  2. The Afghan National Army was very poor and low quality in terms of soldiers, with the harmful traditional divides echoed in its ranks such as tribes and age discrimination. The ANA was also incredibly corrupt and undisciplined. Many who wanted to fight joined militia or worse, the Taleban-who were fellow Afghans. The Ukrainians are professional or at least well trained and driven to fight the foreign Russians.

  3. The goal is simple, aim at the Russian military and fire. If the Russians were worried about being killed they would stay in Russia.
