a car isn't "guapo", a person is.He's smiling cos you called him handsome. the word is "bonito" or "hermoso".

Putin flooded the place with Russians and gave Russian passports to any locals willing. The people you speak to here are the real Abkhazians.
60
Bald said that is something he loves about India.
55
she's Belarussian
43
the Estonian, Tajik and Georgian pavillions are now other pavillions or demolished. The park is not actually a celebration of the Soviet SSRs any longer but some the independent countries decided to fund their own pavillions. "Latvia" is a pavilion for Physical Education and Sport while "Lithuania" is dedicated to Chemistry. Estonia, being Estonians didn't bother to replace or build one of their own and their former pavilion is now the Kyrgyzstan pavillion. fun fact there is actually an Abkhazia pavillion, probably to piss off the Georgians.
40
the helicopter is literally the same type as the one in Rambo 3, the Hind-D
37
"La Ilahaillah Muhammadur Rasullulah" - There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is his Messenger. This is the Islamic declaration of faith and she is repeating it; her beads are a counting device.
31
I was wondering why she would have said "Christians" when the region is majority Christian.
30
Italians, Greek, Polish, Midlands and Spanish grandmas would speak like this as well. What we think of as " Western" is normally Anglo-Saxon/ American bland, culture-void crap.
28
Stalin also means "steel", maybe in his younger days he was tough as nails
28
the kids who lived in Derby have a perfect accent!
27
i'm worried they won't let him in with the Azerbaijan stamp in his passport (unless it is detachable)
25
they were a pretty killer team in the old days, even the women were quite good
25
while Mauritania is conservative, they are so far out of town that by the time we see Alinchik's glorious legs no one else can see them. You might notice she is very well covered in the house and on the train, she is polite enough to do that. don't confuse "Islamic" for "shallow dunderheads who can't accept anything different/Tory voters/ Republicans"
24
a lot of his travels are inane walks or getting shouted at by locals
17
@baldandbankrupt Romani and Hindi have a lot of common roots, notably all the parts of the face are the same (naak, muh, kaan = nose, mouth, ear) even some of the numbers are the same. One reason the Roma are discriminated against is due to their darker skin compared to Central Asians and Eastern Europeans....
16
@wesbulltex presenting things with a clear, non biased perspective is "lefty"? Were you one of those Nazis at Charlottesville? Yes
14
@BrekkaJones24 plenty of white people in Africa, lots of teachers, volunteers, expats etc
14
he is nowhere near Baku, can't be for the tournament
13
Well swimming in the lake is illegal lol
12
@longkumercontribution377 he raised money for the refugee colony in Delhi and visited Kolya 3 times in an irradiated wasteland. How is that stingy?
11
the republics in the Caucasus are not exactly "Russia" proper as they have high levels of autonomy and often it seems you are not in Russia any more despite the opposite
11
well, not for the right reasons
10
They are friendly or rather apathetic due to decades of neglect. In South America villagers are more robust and energetic
10
School is not necessarily segregated in the Caucasus republics (of which only one is not Muslim) as children are not needed to be segregated. In fact most Muslim countries do not segregate their schools. The Caucasus has bred many terrorists and fundamentalists over the years but it is by no means their ideal place to live.

There was a bridge there but the British Indian Army blew it up in WW2.

5
and you have to film the old London black cabs they bought up to use in Baku.
5
he literally fell over in Bolivia and took out a knife in Belarus
5
everyone loves freedom. No need to listen to a country so cocky they picked a fight with Russia with its president running away to become an advisor to Ukraine's president.
5
Goulash is from Hungary but there are regional variants everywhere. Janek from Honest Guide showed a Czech goulash that is pretty similar but uniquely Czech
5
a Salvadoran gang operating in Mexico? naw
5
@budgetking2591 it doesn't sell passports, like Estonia it sells E-citizenships which isn't the same thing. To get a Latvian you have to speak Latvian, and that is hella difficult..... It is Bulgaria that is selling passports.
4
the transition of power was rather quiet
4
forget Borat. Where is the legendary stuntman Illyudin Tulyakbay who performed the magnificent feat of letting a man place his khram in his anus? that was earth shattering (refer to Comic Relief hosted by Graham Norton)
4
I thought Aussies just looked at a beer and it opened
4

4
Saudi Arabia is pretty much the only country with "family" and "male only" areas. In places like Indonesia, Nigeria and Malaysia people sit however they like even sharing tables
4
the Ganges literally changes name at the border, it might as well be Ganges all the way
4

4
Estonians and Latvians were brought to the Perm area and all down the Urals to Chelabynsk, too few came back.
3
He speaks Russian, probably read it in Russian
3
easier to learn it with a native speaker of your own language as well. It is actually pretty hard to find a genuine Hindi school for foreigners
3
Serj lives in LA and didn't grow up in Armenia. Though he speaks the language and is proud of his heritage, he has no real connection to the land apart from his families
