the Estonian, Tajik and Georgian pavillions are now other pavillions or demolished. The park is not actually a celebration of the Soviet SSRs any longer but some the independent countries decided to fund their own pavillions. "Latvia" is a pavilion for Physical Education and Sport while "Lithuania" is dedicated to Chemistry. Estonia, being Estonians didn't bother to replace or build one of their own and their former pavilion is now the Kyrgyzstan pavillion. fun fact there is actually an Abkhazia pavillion, probably to piss off the Georgians.

forget Borat. Where is the legendary stuntman Illyudin Tulyakbay who performed the magnificent feat of letting a man place his khram in his anus? that was earth shattering (refer to Comic Relief hosted by Graham Norton)

they demolished it in 1954. They do have an "Abkhazia" pavilion though lol and Stalin hated Georgia, he was very Russified, almost becoming an Orthodox priest at one point.

the park is actually a monument to economic progress, the former USSR pavilions are actually a minority of the overall displays. The "Latvia" and "Lithuania" pavilions are actually now "Physical Education and Sport" and "Chemistry" specifically. The Moldovan one is actually something called "trade standards" now but has been rented back to Moldova. The Kazakhstan government renovated their pavilion as it was previously a drab building dedicated to metallurgy.

Karelia was a Soviet republic but of a lower status to the likes of Armenia and Kazakhstan- it was a part of the main Russian SSR but had a very high degree of autonomy, like the Tuvan or Cechnyan Republics today. It is famous because of the woods and also because of its very unique culture shared with Finland.

it is not actually a "Russian" pavilion it is the "Main" or "Central" pavilion. The entire park is a homage to Russia's economic and scientific achievements.
