  1. He doesn't really speak Hindi, by his own admission he speaks maybe 30-40 words and knows key phrases. India is the world's largest English speaking country so there is a higher chance someone will understand him. He does speak good Russian, not just because he was married to a Belarussian but because he tries to immerse himself in Russian by going to provincial towns and villages. As for other languages, likely not.
