  1. Your wrong it's illegal to listen to any messages not intended for u, a pilot with radio. Licence, listening to airways at home would still be illegal, while he on plane and directed to that freq for the navigation of his flight he's legal

  3. With close call on my unidens I've found aircraft at Duxford with stuck mic on the ground, affecting air display freq or afis, so while not deliberate it's interference, and finding I can then report it to people on the airfield saying the stuck mic aircraft is

  5. @RingwayManchester  but it's generally ignored by the ofcom of caa or even local, airfields, military bases scanners everywhere, freqs published as well

  8.  @Interdimensional27  befire the radios disappeared we had 5 freqs working from one house as nd controller, whatever can company u called it woukd be same controller 2 low band 85 mhz and 3 vhf high 165 mhz

  9. It's common in usa to speak on atc freqs drone pilots can, but in uk u phone up the atc and ask permission or get authorization on app I think

  12. I took base station to Manchester Airport and handheld sat plugged in with mag mount aerial, airport police had no issue with scanners but said that one there is stealing airport electricity and told me to disconnect it

  14. Crazy thing now there's radios 50 quid that will tx am and fm in military airband, but not civil airband, therss at least one on market tx and rx 200 300 mhz etc and for sone reasoj txes both am or fm,
