I remember hearing about these around 2006/07. We got PILES of yellow diamonds in Australia that were almost worthless until the "champagne diamond" marketing started.

They need a lot of natural gas to do it which they could, but they don't just put AVERAGE SAND into chip making. The most important thing? Employees that can follow instruction and are smart and educated. Have YOU ACTUALLY BEEN there and SEEN the quality of employees there? They're BEYOND stupid. My brother-in-law wanted to get shorts. Preferably red. They had a pair that was far too small, wouldn't fit. But they were red! The shop employee repeated this LIKE 3 TIMES like he was STILL going to buy shorts that DIDN'T FIT just because they were red! Then there's the case of the military who had to clean up their dorm. They called maintenance because the fridge wasn't working. They had it plugged into a quad adapter. They had plugged the quad adapter INTO ITSELF and couldn't work out WHY the power wasn't still on. Like I was saying, the people are beyond stupid there in MANY cases.

Abu Dhabi/Dubai/UAE is a RENOWNED gateway for SHADY companies, a lot of mercenary headquarters are based there and they are known to be where the taliban and other Afghan warlords go to get satellite phones sorted. They're like Switzerland in many ways, banking is even more open, money laundering via real estate is COMMON. This would be a great conduit for Chinese to get technology BANNED by the US chip ban.

YEARS AND YEARS ago, like almost 30 years ago, I realised that I could use a lone drawn on a piece of paper with a sketching pencil as a resistor, or at least that's what my multimeter showed.

@anthonyxuereb792 you DO REALISE that Russian stole a BIG island off Japan in WW2 and still own it today? No.... you didn't. Japan has Russian territory like a FEW HUNDRED miles from them.

Kinda the same difference. But PARTIALLY bought would've been better

I heard that on some Chinese territory islands the Han mainlanders chased them up in to the mountains away from the flat farming land then started calling them "the mountain people".

Ypu just nailed the reason why china's tech will NEVER overtake others. Because when you copy, you MATCH the other side, but you're always lagging behind. You can never OVERTAKE them by just copying.

There's PILES of videos on it. It is basically that the pension money they put in is NOTHING with todays inflation and they're getting like $50 a week OR LESS. They have LITERAL shanty towns FULL of the elderly.
1
@jhee0113 that's NOT ALL. It's like they're getting an exact same amount as they put in but inflation and production has gone up like 6 or 8 fold since then. So their pension money is now worth LESS THAN 50 BUCKS a week.

@nebblepoppishire3037 here in Australia it's the OTHER WAT around. They were a few hundred dollars each now they're the price if natural, in the THOUSANDS for a ring. I have one I believe is Russian, I didn't get it from a jeweller but it was like $40. 15 carat. Absolutely enormous.

@anthonyxuereb792 They were blocking a BANNED export. And I'll bet it was Sweden. There was a pro-Soviet president there that was VERY hated amongst the people and he was assassinated. They believe it was an inside job after the Americans warned other high ranking politicians that this president was getting too close to the Soviets to continue a relationship with America.

I GATHER you can still buy NEW DAEWOO cars in Russia. But they're still the 1999 models. They have at least one small wagon, not sure what others.

I know of a case where they have someone SUBCONTRACTED to do the repairs. Usually they do the worst quickest job they can, and you get a machine back that's still screwed.
