  2. We had it here in Australia until a rebellion destroyed the class system essential over gold mining rights. 93 people got the bullet in one night, the government tried to justify themselves and the wider public wouldn't have it so they relented and the class system collapsed soon after.

  7. I had heard of this. Crazy to be blown up with your grandkids but there were a few ganf mob hits here in Australia where the guys were deliberately shot in front of their kids just to sour things worse for the families.

  9. I had a great aunt here in Australia, it was like the Australian version of "keeping up appearances". She used to bang out a few "believe you me". Her mother was the daughter of an exceedingly rich gold mining CEO. I kind of wonder if she didn't pick it up from her mother who was from an upper class background.

  13. My mum had friends who wanted to leave their bags at a train station while being tourists in Ireland or England to pick them up later because the motel wasn't ready and they wanted to look around without lugging their bags. They looked at them like they were insane for even asking.

Ffs France once RAN England. They taught it for SO MANY years in British public schools. You don't know much about the royals and it shows.
