  4. As someone who works in Melbourne I could SEE this coming. It was all spiraling out on control in the southern suburbs in Sydney and meanwhile there's HUNDREDS up in Manly and ZERO masks on. And she'd be there saying every single day "this is the worst this outbreak will probably get but we've got it under control". She learnt ABSOLUTELY NOTHING from the major Melbourne outbreak that hit a peak of 734 cases in one day. Despite anything our Premier advised her, she had her fingers in her ears and then they staryed reacting like they were in uncharted waters WHILE ALL ALONG we had been there and done it and got thru it. Trust me, lockdowns and curfews will LAST MONTHS and the figure of 2000 cases a day is PROBABLY RIGHT even if EVERYBODY starts wearing masks. It'll be higher if they don't. We learned that with the basic covid strain, masks slow up transmission by 40%, but delta transfers FAR worse than the basic strain. Anyway, the end of next week it'll go over 1000 cases a day easy.

  5. Yeah, it's MISOGYNY when someone DESTROY 100 MILLION BUCKS worth of ship and you blame HER for it. Because she WAS incompetent and DID do it. Give her another 100 million bucks of gear to destroy. Money is in endless supply as people are DEFAULTING ON THEIR MORTGAGES because of a lousy economy.

  7. OH WOW. So this is THE FIRST TIME they looked at the long Melbourne lockdown and said "WELL.... going on THIS data, we predict....". Like I have been saying all along, in NSW these politicians had LEARNT NOTHING from the major Melbourne outbreak and would come out with BLIND ridiculous ideas that they were past the worst/had it under control while in the wealthy suburbs, they're out on the beach in their HUNDREDS with no masks to be seen...... now they're finally getting the idea HOW these BIG outbreaks play out....

  12. Imagine a SAFE ALTERNATIVE to smoking being banned. No tar in your lungs but WE NEED TAXES. So vaping = bad. This ABSOLUTELY WON'T stop vaping any more than they stopped chop chop.

  15. Isn't it SO VERY STRANGE that ehen Melbourne was BADLY struggling with covid, one day with like 735 new cases, the only people getting vaccinations WERE IN QUEENSLAND.... Couldn't even GET the stuff down here as the whole show was unraveling.... just look at the PM response when we got it. NOTHING BUT complaints. Then when Sydney gets it HE ALL HUMBLE....
