  3. Yes but they won't survive long in the shallows regardless. Young animals do get confused at times and end up doing dangerous things to themselves.

  4. It's actually VERY easy if you understand anything about physics. Costs a few dollars but it's not complicated. But if it's come to the surface it's probably dying anyway.

  6.  @Localdude_Pochita_enjoyer  despite the 2 million comments on how they only come to the surface waters to DIE.... you still thought it was an epic fail. These are VERY RARELY seen and Japan is one of the few places where they do get to see them. And the fact it wasn't totten washed up on the shore and ACTUALLY MOVING was and alive after being netted is REMARKABLE. Show me ONE OTHER COUNTRY that has achieved putting a LIVE oarfish in a public aquarium. Because ABSOLUTELY NONE have.
