  5. FORTUNATELY JP, HERE IN AUSTRALIA contrary to popular belief, we are actually opening up. They've decided that we hit the vaxx percentage they wanted (I think it was 80% but we reached 92%), so now the delta is running thru everyone vaxxed (for alpha), but we JUST GOTTA GET ON with life. The infection numbers are thru the roof, but the deaths are nowhere near what you'd expect. Western Australia is holding out until more are vaxxed, but the high percentage of aboriginals there..... don't want the vaxx. We'll see how THAT GUY goes next election. I PERSONALLY feel that people's politics change with LIFE EXPERIENCE, hence the Eastern European saying of "if you're not a communist at 20 you don't have a heart, if you're still a communist at 40 you don't have a head". As you age, you realise that issues are FIVE FOLD more complicated than you originally thought when you were a weenie saying "tax the rich" because it never occurred to you that the rich might just decide to NOT BOTHER working hard if they are going to be heavily taxed. As a weenie you say "how much do they need!" and then the over taxed "rich person" can say "yeah, I don't need another 100 million, I'm selling this company" and then it gets taken over by a equity fund and you're out of a job. And you're entire concept has backfired on you. The STUPID will continue to blame the wealthy, the smart sees how voting for the far left to triple the minimum wage led to them losing their job.
