@awesomebearaudiobooks many were basic but BUILT for extremely low octane fuel and SERIOUS cold. They weren't efficient but were made to keep going

In cars made for the disabled, there was SERIOUS planned obsolescence. They were built to last only 5 years but would go 10.

And yet IT WAS the case. All production was stopped every time the military wanted something. One day to finish another project? Can it, because the military wants.... there was a PHENOMENAL waste of equipment use, doing minor things with equipment that could do bigger jobs, continually building lathes even when there was nothing to use it for. You actually KNOW ANYONE who was a factory worker in the USSR? I HIGHLY doubt it.
