  6. $5 for rabbit isn't a huge bargain considering we get ones 1/2 as big again in Australia for about $8. Due to the British bringing rabbits to Australia for hunting sport, we have a HUGE amount here to the point we could literally herd them into nets straight out of our fields in the 1930s and even the late 50s. My grandfather used to do it and I think my father can remember 1 or 2 in the late 50s. My cat catches them and struggles to bring them in thru the cat flap and eats them later. The BEST way to eat them is to fry them. It's like high class fried chicken. On occasion I catch one by hand or hit one with a car and eat it. You can butcher them with a steak knife.

  7. Btw you WANT THEM to overcook meat there. The parasite problems and cleanliness issues REQUIRE it unless you want to get seriously ill. You DON'T want to boil rabbit because it has out of control gelatin levels. It's edible but the gelatin is crazy and it's nicer to fry or grill.
