As an Australian, Telstra is a TOTALLY SCUM company. Answered my parents landline phone many years ago, they AUTOMATICALLY assumed I was the guy who owned the lime and tried to GUILT TRIP me into changing back to them with more expensive calls ALL AROUND. I worked for a competitor and had recently switched my parents over to that competitor. They are completely useless when it comes to refunds when they screw up your bill charging you for a disconnected line, call centres in india that spin you around in circles. NEVER using them again. When they turned off analog and put up a new tower THAT DIDN'T WORK, they blamed the 260 cell phones in this town for ALL not working and NOT their tower. They are BEYOND arrogant. Even have a photo of posters in their shop "looks like the share price is up". I don't know HOW they can get away with advertising crap like that. Was considered the most overvalued company in Australia for YEARS by stock brokers

My father asked for an account to be closed after they started charging fees for THE FIRST TIME ever in Australia back in 1994. But the bastards DIDN'T CLOSE IT. Instead they withdrew all the money and LEFT it open. A couple months later he gets account fees on an empty account but they tried to make IT CREDIT for the fees because there's no money in the account and charge him some kinda OVERDRAFT FEE. "Oh I suppose we can wipe the fees". He told them farking oath you can because you SPECIFICALLY IGNORED my instructions when I was right there in person in the bank 2 months ago. The mongrels pretending THEY WERE GIVING HIM a favor. I went to close my account in the same bank after they left the town. I was in the nearby city and asked for it to be closed and the bastards tried to pretend that I only wanted a withdrawal so I had to repeat myself and double checked before I left that they had done what I actually asked. That's only the tip of it all in Australia. They foreclosed on TONS of businesses that had NEVER missed a payment including people my uncle knew who owned a brewery. And interestingly enough one of the bank managers friends was waiting in the wings to buy the place. Dumb bastard expected to get the special strain of yeast the family had bought over from Germany decades ago. Didn't happen and this bank managers mate was going on like he'd be ripped off. Not a single payment was missed and no reason was given for the foreclosure. Bank tried something similar with my farm while I was consistently 6 months ahead in my payments, and still had 5 years left on the term of the loan. Starts the phone call with "congratulations on requesting to finalize your loan". I said "I never requested that". He goes "Oh well the loan has to be finalized anyway". 5 years before the term ended. The idiots then told me that I could apply for A NEW LOAN but because I had recently started working again, I wasn't eligible for a loan (need to be in a job for 6 months). It was so small that I tried to get a credit card. ALSO not eligible for the same reason. In the end my parents had the money and we paid upfront. Very interestingly there was NO LETTERS about this. All completely done on the phone so NOTHING was in writing.

@rossmanngroup so you finally showed THE LEGEND!

Blackberry voted for Biden and Clinton isn't happy.
10
And yet landlords don't want to hear logical maths like that.
9
Australian here. It's because with some rich, money = arrogance. And they're never wrong according to themselves.
9
So communism
6
@wilfdarr a bit like the "random" workplace drug test the day after you ask for a raise. I've heard of that before.
5
There's many videos our there but make sure that you use a VPN or something to cover your tracks or just make sure they're not holding any money or products of yours at a level you would miss.
4
Specifically career politicians backed by media and lobbyists ULTIMATELY overshadowed by mega corporations....

My cat meows on cue. They do after a few years with them.

Maternity instinct in women.
3
Plus he's OUT OF THE COLD!
3
And the cat instantly bails out...
3
Meanwhile the owners head is so far up their ass that they're STILL TRYING to rent at that ridiculous price. After 3 years of NOTHING coming in but property taxes GOING OUT.
3
Ahhhh, now the REAL recession is here. You know, the one were prices ACTUALLY buckle instead of just continuing to SAY they will. And the stock market has properly started to drop after that little rally for a few weeks there. Things ARE ALL ON TRACK for my plans.
2
I would've paid for some crackhead to beat the hell outta that bully. So I could walk around the corner and say "What happened tough guy? Your mom beat your ass?"
2
Bloody lucky it didn't come off 5 miles later. My parents knew someone who took A PORSCHE to get serviced and the engine died a quarter mile later. Didn't put the sump bung back in or check the oil level after changing the oil. YES it was a dealership
2
Would be better going BACK TO THE SOVIET UNION. At least then I could have owned my own wheel of cheese and desk lamp.
2
@chuckd5877 yes
2
@noexistence1 so then WHY NOT have sn entrance at the door FACING the street. Why CONTINUE TO cover the windows. It's an abandoned place that WAS a popeyes. For a few months.
2
@noyb154 yes it WAS. For a few months. And now abandoned. But not CURRENTLY otherwise they wouldn't have the entrance on the street closed and paper over the windows.
2
@rossmanngroup There's NO TIPPING in Australia. As a result you get NO OFFENCE and food service people are paid A SET fairly reasonable minimum wage instead. No bosses taking tips, no working for peanuts and then expecting you'll get paid MAINLY in tips. No surprises OR disappointments.
2
But MAINLY people trying to launder foreign blood money or drug money.
1
This is CRAZY to do it to someone with YOUR social media standing. I mean if they wiped me, noone would know, but you with like 1.8 million subs.... VERY foolish move.
1
I see this even in the huge American company I work for. No time for supervisors to train, ridiculous quotas that are impossible to reach while the shift manager tries to protect us from any quota questions because the equipment is junk AND IF everyone had to meet the quota, he would lose HALF his staff. 20 seconds of how we done good last shift followed by 7 minutes of complaints. Then you got out to -19F warehouse with equipment that is creaking like hell and parts don't work or other malfunctions and portable printers that can't handle the cold but you're told to go in there anyway and spend half the night fighting some burnt out crappy printer.

Reminds me of that guy in The Big Short who could see the housing crisis coming. They audited him FOUR TIMES and the FBI investigated him. Only because he could see the system was ABSOLUTELY going to tank.

That's NUTS

26:30 that's EXACTLY HOW the mechanics and auto shop guys feel at Willetts Point. The city has NO concrete plans on what will happen there, have ALREADY forced GOOD PROFITABLE businesses to close, and idiots WONDER WHY the place looks like hell and the owners don't want to invest in stuff. As the city could shut everything down in 5 years time. Because apparently according to stupid hipsters and the upper class council members, NOBODY needs vehicle repairs, just more hipster cafes.... you can get your cars fixed in Pennsylvania....
1
As an Australian, there's rich people who are never wrong (according to themselves). Money equals arrogance with the half rich and a FEW of the truly rich. Most truly rich aren't at all arrogant.
1
BINGO. It's what will happen. Buy it at land value, smash it down and then wait 10 years to sell the vacant block.
1
@MK_ULTRA420 you're too dumb to diagnose common problems. It's obviously a roof leak and extreme water damage which means that the frame will be rotten plus things get moldy in NY, so it's DONE. The caving in ceiling showed how extreme it was. But the grey marks on the ceiling and puffy paint inside show that the place has bad water damage.
1
Sounds like that guys total expense account is less than I spend ALONE at a sushi train resturant (hard to stop when the plates are rolling right past your eyes). Let alone the average amount of cash in my wallet. His expense account is less than the woman spent in the supermarket in front of me on groceries today (was like $270 no alcohol no cigarettes, she went out with tons).

You realize it's BECAUSE it doesn't have his smell on it right? May well even have the smell of another cat.
1
I was hoping it was going to happen early February as it will probably stsrt around 20th Jan.
1
This is NUTS. I mean the F150 is THE MOST SOLD ford! So there's even going to be piles of special editions out there. And it's A FORD not a Ferrari!
1
Barely profitable. But no longer worth it. Sooner he moves the better.
1
That's had noone there for like 15 years. Typical signs of being abandoned after all the furniture was removed. And a BADLY leaking roof. You could get this in Australia for like 30 thousand US bucks.
1
This made news in Australia also
1
Funny. Because I'm watching this on an S5 right now and had the option between waterproof and non waterproof. I got the waterproof one. On the 4th battery. Bought every one from a mobile phone repairs place and popped it in myself.

Exactly

Never EVEN REALIZED they got a $2 billion bailout. I mean how do you get a bailout for DOING SOMETHING ILLEGAL? Maybe El Chapo should've asked for a bailout. Of jail... Then I'm reading about all THE OTHER insider tricks....
1
You know trump bought a multistorey place on wall street in the depths of the recession in 1990 for $1 million and NOBODY wanted it because people said NY real estate was pointless at THAT time. It's value like 15 years back was like $550 million.

It's not a LEASE or RENTAL if you BOUGHT it. This is BASIC property rights under capitalism.
1
You EVER HEARD of Radio Rentals in Australia? There's OTHERS too. You RENT the appliances. But if you keep it like 2 years or something then you can PAY A LUMP SUM to own it. Then it dies next week. The point is it APPLIANCE RENTAL right down to radios and couches for the welfare recipient or hopeless trailer trash. Of course they have it all set up with this welfare office option that pays bills INCLUDING THEIRS before you see any of your welfare payment. They'll approve it RIGHT AWAY if they're signed in. But the junk couch, with missed payments has cost some people equivalent US$ 30 THOUSAND. And I could tell it wasn't even a good couch.
1
About 10 years ago you could live well enough as a single person for $100 for 6 months.... but I think inflation there is terrible. And the chinese expect like $5 AN HOUR now.
1
I like to think of cats as never ending hot water bottles that sometimes run off in the middle of the night. To find some mice of course.

Well they've screwed my laptop. Updates have killed SOUND several times, now killed Bluetooth file transfer, now I can't even save the file I have opened off my phones sd card while it's plugged in WITHOUT saving it to the hard drive and then COPYING it over. But MEANWHILE it's downloaded an install of office I never ssked for, as well as an install for an updated version of Windows and put on a video editor I never asked for and when I go to use paint I have to type it into search EVERY TIME although it's one of the top 3 programs I use!!!! Imagine if these idiots were left to run a nuclear power plant. It'd be 80 times worse than Chernobyl.... I once had to copy a single file to my phone. 20 minutes startup as it installed an update, and 45 minutes shutdown over ANOTHER UPDATE, and I just needed ONE small file.... bloody time wasting crap. If they sold cars it would want to do an engine swap while you were already running late for work.
