  10. I HIGHLY expected that. Why pay for bike use when nobody cares about the piles everywhere and you can just take one into your apartment or out back and cut all the wires and boxes off? You keep that one for yourself, maybe with a bike lock or inside your work or apartment, maybe repaint it with a rattle can to stop any odd questions, and if you get a flat tire or something breaks on it, go do it to another one.

  11. If you've seen CLAY REFINEMENT it's a ridiculously long process. But I'm surprised they didn't go like Britain did after the war and the bricks from the 1800s to build chimneys around my house. Just scooped the clay straight out of the ground and made into bricks. The bricks from my old chimneys are full of gravel and sand and very pourous like terracotta and quite light, but they're better than fake bricks. Crack easily but that's 200 years out in the rain that's probably part of it.

  14. My co-workers dad was a salesman for plastic film in china to farmers, hothouses and the like. He spent A LOT of time in china. Although they weren't that close, he took her to china and to a "Mongolian hooker bar". She hasn't had barely anything to do with asians but said the girls there LOOKED about 12 (likely 16) and there you would buy the girl a drink to initiate a conversation about her rates and such. Then after that one drink, maybe only 5 minutes, they'd leave with guys in the 40s to 70s. She was the only non Asian female in the place, her father wanted to show her the unseen side of china.

  21. It's beyond me how you can spend YEARS in a country and not learn the language. I'm in an English speaking country (Australia) but know 3 languages ANYWAY. I see beer and other stuff in Spanish and don't translate it as much as let my mind absorb it and recognise a few words and then my mind just springs the entire English translation on me a few seconds later. It's weird but that's how my brain works with simple Spanish.

  26. You missed something else about the Pakistani one. There's a HUGE pipe that goes through a mountain to turbines on the other side. Maybe 1.2km long. THAT PIPE has chunks of concrete dislodging and a HUGE chance of destroying the turbines so they turned that pipe off to save the turbine.

His mother had died so he went into some kind of boarding house near the sea and would talk to the fishermen by radio because he was a bit of an electronics buff. His sister was strange as hell and selfish and never had a good thing to say about him. My dad who was only a friend was given the ashes by the funeral home because he was the only one who attended with my mum. He spread the ashes down by the beach near the boarding house.

  48. There's a VERY easy method to get fuel out of cars. There's a thing that's LIKE a car tyre valve that's used to bleed fuel under the hood where it goes to the injectors. And you do something with the fuel pump fuse where you add a positive wire directly to it and you can pump then entire tank dry or until your battery goes flat ALL without starting the engine. Tricks I have seen on YouTube. Especially good for if you replaced your fuel tank after contamination or rebuilding after a crash. It's actually made for that. Otherwise you turn the key on to the second position and you get about 10 seconds of the pump. Then switch off and back on and get another 10 seconds. 2 or 3 switches should do 1 molotov I'd say.

We almost became the one country, and still have close military ties including Australia's air force being NEW ZEALAND'S air protection. As a result, there's an open border BUT we're cracking diwn. For example one of them had a dyson V6 cordless vacuum and told a chinese guy I worked with that his vacuum had a more powerful motor than his honda because his honda was 4 cylinder and his ELECTRIC cordless vacuum was V6. They had a HUGE hook with a fish on the end and deliberately caught A PELICAN in front of shocked locals with this huge hook in it's mouth. They went back to the accommodation and started plucking it in front of German and other European travellers in the shared kitchen. They got a fine and 2 weeks in a cell until they were deported and blacklisted on the "no entry" list.

It's some kinda British that's HEAVILY chinese. You don't drop your native accent THAT quick. I have a cultureless hipster cousin who's been in the US for 8 years. In MY EXPERIENCE of serbs, many who came STRAIGHT from the Yugoslav civil war (I went to school with them), they're the type of people that ONCE they realise they're being screwed, there will be a WHOLE TON OF VIOLENCE and chinese nationals POURING out of the borders. They're the sort of people that ABSOLUTELY WON'T take betrayal without getting violent. Not the sort of people you screw over and just walk away from. They have marches for WW2 veterans on ANZAC day I believe, I have actually SEEN these marches and they hold flags saying "freedom or death". There is also another story of 2 chinese brothers that cone to work in the plantations there in the 12 short years it was a German colony. When it became British controlled again, via New Zealand, they deported ALL the chinese but these 2 brother stayed and hid in jungle huts to avoid deportation. After years of this, they decided to be compassionate and grant them citizenship. They THEN proceeded to get 3 wives EACH and had 60-70 between THOSE 2 brothers, and these kids went on to crush local businesses by deliberately driving them out of business by lowering their prices artificially below cost, and propping them up with profits from other business they owned. They have since done this IN EVERY industry from hardware supplies to boat sales, and NOW are deep into politics. People REALLY resent this family for trying to run both business and politics ENTIRELY for the whole country. Political corruption there is off the charts.

  129. ​ @housewilma4904 a moderate earthquake and they're done. I have a house that's 170 years old that I done framing and bracing work on. Every few years we get another earth tremor and nothing happens. Last one was 2 WEEKS ago with the epicentre literally 3 miles away from me. I was outside and thought I was having a dizzy spell but there was this roar like a jet going over but no jet. As usual, nothing happened to the house.
