  1. It's not NATO, it is USA led NATO. All members are vassals of the USA and obey all its orders. Russia stopped also the USA in the Middle East. The USA attacked Iraq, Libya, Lebanon, Syria and there Russia stopped the USA, though the USA still robs oil from Syria right now. On USA's Middle East list to attack and rob blind and/or perform regime change like in Ukraine and Haiti, are still busy: Sudan, Somalia and Iran. The goal of the Pentagon was 7 countries in 5 years, but it's delayed.
