I think the peace talk (there was a civil war in Ukraine from 2014 until now) was a means to shove him into the position of president and peace was never the plan. Zelensky now openly preaches war/conflict instead of peace.

My opinion is that the complete west has become fascist in the open, not hiding it from 2019, the Covid times. One of the traits of fascism is that the people cannot vote for their rulers, like for the EU and WHO. Corporate ruled governments are also not democracies, but they are corrupt dictatorships. Furthers traits of the fascism are forced mass injections on all people no matter the individual health and bypassing the family doctors and medical specialists, mass house arrest on all people no matter crimes committed or not, for the people who obey the dictator there are privileges by giving a QR Apartheid code to them to be able to enter restaurants etc, plus the curfews and martial law.
