  1. Ukraine did terrible things to POWs as well. Torture and other cruelty. It doesn't suit the narrative so the USA led west takes no action to save certain civilians, thus the saving is apparently based on opinions of the people only. The opinion on the conflict is apparently more important than a human life for the governments involved. Selective discriminatory empathy and actions on display.

  3. You're talking about a terrorist state that allows a blacklist on which names are listed of enemies of Ukraine that will be killed. Almost all names are listed concerning having criticism on Ukraine or understanding Russia's point of view . A lot or most of the names are of people not being inhabitants of Ukraine. That is madness of course.

  5.  @bobmiller9967  We can't know. Probably more family in Ukraine, maybe elderly parents of the wife and such, friends and everything. It can be hard to move away from all that and leave others behind. I wonder if the family (his father, wife, children) can still have a decent life in Ukraine now and be safe. They better had left or leave now if possible.
