@yurichtube1162 "In the Palestinian context, the word refers to attempts to "shake off" the Israeli occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip in the First and Second Intifadas, where it was originally chosen to connote "aggressive nonviolent resistance" " (Wikipedia on intifada) Why does Israel make settlements in the Palestinian areas for example?

Maybe go back to 1948 and further back to when British colonized the are calling it a 'British mandate' just like that and find out if starting a colony called Israel on previously 'mandated territory' (wth is that) is a legal thing? "In 1917, during World War I, British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour sent the Balfour Declaration to Lord Rothschild, a leader of the British Jewish community, that stated that Britain intended for the creation of a Jewish "national home" in Palestine. In 1918, the Jewish Legion, a group primarily of Zionist volunteers, assisted in the British conquest of Palestine" (Wikipedia) It looks like they always do these things when WWs and/or huge very painful distractions are happening. And it looks like the British prepared the way with help of Zionist 'volunteers'. 'Conquest' is the used word, so that is a violent military act.

@yurichtube1162 The jihadist Hamas group is not good i.m.o.. The rest of Hamas Idk, but they had a mild attitude and only wanted the agreements about the borders of 1967 being respected and followed-up, while in the meantime not recognizing the state of Israel. That is not an aggressive stance.

@nutznchocolates56 Israel is a colony indeed.

The well known bully toddler politicians visiting Israel already chose sides with their words and actions, without informing themselves with all testimonies of all parties, so they are in no position to be of any value in the field of diplomacy. They can't be that dumb but in fact they are. Again al are speaking as one mouth, very peculiar.

I don't understand how Belgium has ALL frozen assets (at a Belgian company? everything put in one Belgian bank?) and how Belgium as one country in the EU (not the EU itself makes those decisions and executes those actions?) has the audacity to have the interest and gains from frozen money and assets at their personal disposal and allocate them to a purpose of their personal choice? I don't see how that is legal. I think it would be illegal to use the frozen assets to gain personal profit and to have that at your disposal. I call bluff for now.

The Russian bank assets are not owned by the EU or by Euroclear and the interest also not. Sanctions by an institute called the EU on a sovereign FOREIGN country which is not in the EU and not under EU's jurisdiction is illegal to start with.

So every foreign non EU or EU country that got sanctioned by the EU can expect their assets in transactions in the EU to be frozen and the profits be stolen. All better look out for more safe financial traffic than letting anything pass in the EU => end of European banking business.

How is using frozen assets for personal gains legal??
