He can read out loud a scripted text, that's true. His tempo is 1/100th of normal people, he needs directions for every move and he is doing other things while he should pay attantion and listen politely to the others. Then at the end he starts talking elections and politics which I find rude in a situation like this.

@den-goo How much cost they now?
2
And that money was for the preparedness for hurricanes, so sue them I'd say, for the negligence towards the inhabitants, discrimination of the inhabitants. The corruption should stop.
2
Rejection of private help would be ridiculous. Inspection of the foods and materials would be ok of course, but no inspection and refusing it is ridiculous and hurts the trust in government and in FEMA. They seem not capable for their tasks.

Didn't USA send 10,000 or so National Guards abroad to some war project very recently? So why did they even go away during that disaster?
1
Yes, I would have expected the guards and/or army to organize all that right away. Barracks, meds, cooks, offering stretchers/beds to rest and sleep. It looks like there is no preparedness at all. I even wonder if the numbers of guards and soldiers in general are correct or a lie. The cracks in the system become visible this way.

Well, he did speak of more activities and indeed finally from TODAY the army helping (why not right away from the start 4 days or so ago while they claim to be prepared?). I find him saying that it costs BILLIONS suspect. That should be well accounted for, because else it is a sneaky way to send billions to Ukraine again.
1
I didn't see him answering questions? He read a text from a paper only.
1
I did find the politics talk at the end rude though. That is not the right moment or place to start talking about the usual propaganda/ agenda points or trying to blame climate instead of being accountable, prepared and active.
1
Since when is Jeff Bezos speaker for FEMA?
1
Yes, they should make a statement about that and build back the trust. (if still possible)
1
He's not capable to meet people in shelters I guess.
1
Did some companies maybe need the land? I heard that there is a lot of lithium in that area specifically? Were there troubles to buy out the people maybe? Investigation needed maybe?
1
Stop talking about politics and agenda points in an encouriging speech to the people in dire needs. It's totally out of place and rude.
1
He can talk and read texts out loud but that's all he can as I observe it. Every move is extremely slow, including understanding simple directions. Not fit for the job, but that was already known.
1
They did show the intro on purpose as I think. The handlers standing with their backs to the camera, directing his every move.
1
Yeah, like the Covid ones that cause cancers to grow faster.
1
He should visit people in shelters and show to be engaged fully, but I guess he is too old and sick/demented for that.
1
How is it in Ohio and Maui? I saw no follow ups or status updates. Don't journalists report on that after the government gives 700 dollars and saying bey?
1
Also odd. Extreme late reaction.
1
What's the last pic with trash and a little flag?
1
I didn't see both Kamala and Joe walking and talking with people. They recite words from their scripts sitting behind desks. These things which do not reflect the reality on the ground make me think that those characters are not even real but holograms or CGI or definitely not fit to do their tasks in the REALITY.
1
Yes, that was weird, like he owns Starlink.
