  2.  @lesleyriseam1282  I know. Even in WW2 it happened, but by the occupier Germany, not by the own state. In my family a non Jew father (around 40 years old) and son (of 16 years old) were kidnapped per razzia method (taken from the streets like now happens in Ukraine), transported to Germany and put to work in a German metal factory/war industry. They survived after 1,5 years slavery, though the father lost half his weight (from 120kg to 60 kg, he was almost 2 meters tall), and his shins were beaten black and blue. Like we forgot the Nazi terror in Europe? No, the memory is fresh. These things and the tens of millions of European people's deaths are hardly mentioned in the official remembrances, it's always only about a certain religion.
