Maybe to stall time to bring more NATO troops in and equipment, like they did when signing the Minsk agreements, just for stalling time with intention to ignore the agreements and supply Ukraine for the attack on Russia, as Merkel, Hollande and Poroshenko stated fairly recently.

@bigdumbfatcat2869 Ukrainians were also shelling the nuclear plant, so it would be good if Russia takes them out before they are able to do such a thing. It really looks like the suicide squad in action now, with the goal to destroy many civilians/innocent people in the process, not caring at all, in a type of insane raging mode nearing the end of their attacking capabilities.

Actually Victoria Nuland is obsessed with regime change in Russia and then China. Of course she is controlled and used by puppeteers behind the curtains of the stage, some insane oligarchs and rich guys. Biden is just the vegetable in chief and reads teleprompters, not knowing where he is and what he says. It is the USA as the front of western oligarchs, which doesn't care for people at all, look at the current state of the USA. EU the same, vassal and slave of the USA policies. The oligarchs in power in the 'West' destroy themselves plus the people, being completely obsessed with/possessed by/imprisoned inside their massive power lust and greed. It is a severe mental disease of which they are suffering, like thinking to be Napoleon inside the asylum. They will have to be dismantled and put in straitjackets/jail in order to protect the world around them.

@wolfgangohmer3518 Without wanting to kill the civilians urban warfare and trench warfare is a tedious time consuming job. Else they would have carpet bombed the city and the rest of Ukraine, like the USA did in Iraq, killing 1-2 million civilians + 500.000 children.
