Did EU economy drop only 2%? I pay now on average 150% of the pre-conflict prices in the supermarkets, some things with 0% higher prices and some things 100-200%. They may have mixed that number of common citizens suffering from the inflation with numbers in companies/ multinationals making huge profits on war materials, so that the 50% on top of pre-conflict prices has now become the deceiving number of 2% average. That is not the entire truth then of course. It is lying by omission of facts again.

Well, they thought that with about 10 years of arming and training and preparing, plus with sending all military assets that the NATO/west possesses to the like 600,000 trained and armed and prepared soldiers and mercenaries in Ukraine, that they would beat Russia.

@duckcensorship7446 The SMO was never about conquering Ukraine. The Russian SMO was about denazification and demilitarization of the Donbas, where ethnic Russians live and were discriminated and hunted by the Kiev neo-Nazi militias and already for 8 years when the SMO started, from the USA/west backed coup in 2014.

@chrissmith7669 The battle is going on from 2014. Idk when those things were destroyed exactly, but a lot was already not 'fine' from the start of the SMO, because that armed type of civil war conflict in Ukraine started in 2014, not in Feb 2022.
