  2.  @piotrpiotr6288  While they defend themselves like Russia did and does they can act as aggressor, so there is not much difference and aggressor is a too vague word which defines only a moment or one action, not the complete situation and history etc. Ukraine (or actually USA with EU support) started the aggression against anything Russian with the regime change/coup in 2014 and after that shelled Donetsk and treated ethnic Russians inside Ukraine as lesser beings (so the aggression was against common people and led to a civil war inside Ukraine) and that was on Russia's border, so that is much aggression at one's doorstep.

  8. Yes, thee is a recent proposal for free movement of military through Europe (but that is a problem still because it deletes a part of the sovereignty of nations) and the exercises could indeed be used for that.
