A few Ukraine oligarchs posing as government have enriched themselves immensely in Ukraine (billionss), some getting an oblast (province) to rule over and making a lot of private armies of which some at least if not all are highly extreme far right neonazi (like Azov Batalion). Search the coup in 2014 and abolishing of human rights protection for the Donbas region (ethnic Russians) in Ukraine in 2015. A million people did flee to Russia between 2014 and 2021, according to UN counts. It is a corrupt country, free state for some and hell for others.
