I come here for the entertainment as much as the technology. Brian, you're a star!
6
Great convo! Lots of interesting titbits!
6
FSD would have easily detected that it was a 2D image well before needing to stop if it had been on as it approached. I reckon even Autopilot would have. So this was not so much a test as an ambush.

Disappointed (but not surprised) there was no mention of Teslas... except to criticise!
3
...And get a tax credit for it!
3
He stole that idea from Elon too, probably.
3
Try 10 to 50 THOUSAND years...
3
Yep, the HPF worked fine! Thanks!
3
A pity it takes so long.
3
Like Kodak, they won't realise it until it's too late. We're there right now...
3
@FutureAzA 😂
2
Swapping batteries in cars is a 'fool's errand'.
2
I spend a fair fraction of my life dobbing bots on other pro-Tesla channels! It's satisfying work, but time consuming.
2
@Withnail1969 Lithium is the disruptive technology. All improvements are a bonus.
2
In 5 years this will all blow over and Tesla will be HUUUGE!
2
The resources required to mimic Rober's 'test' are outside his budget, is what he's saying.
2
@FutureAzA Surprisingly, we appreciate all your humour, Brian. At least I sure do!
2
I see it on fb, but I don't let it stop me, but I stay away from obviously deranged arguments. I'm not that stupid.
2
* intEgrated.

Only if the govt gets their hands on it.
1
Wow!
1
Hahaha!
1
Breaking brakes?
1
Happy birthday, Randy!
1
Mark my words. In ten years' time it will become difficult to get a private drivers licence. Driving is just too dangerous to allow humans to do it!
1
...and here's me thinking a parody was making fun of something... @ChicagoBob123
1
I thought you were having a stroke for a second there... Then I realised it was just me.
1
Until FSD is mandated for all cars...
1
I don't think religions are a good example of ways to give up control over people. For most, that is their 'stock in trade'!
1
Until demand makes it worthwhile to separate it, it'll be used as fertiliser.
1
@louisstanwu "by whom" is the important question!
1
@jontwigge5305 as long as it isn't the government...
1
. @danjw1 Tesla money talks... Nvidia listens.
1
Of course they'll be in a robotaxi!
1
Climate change is causing huge instability in the polar vortices. I'm even noticing it here in Australia where our summers are on average hotter, but with greater swings in temperature and occasionally very unseasonally low temperatures in summertime.
1
Your time will be getting harder as time goes on...
1
@1001Balance that's extremely unlikely.
1
What mouth?
1
Break... grrr.
1
Too late, I fear!
1
Telling Brian he's doing the great job he is, is definitely NOT spam!
1
This is a big problem for me. Sometimes, with a trip to work of only a couple of km's, I occasionally take it for a longer spin just to warm it up properly.
1
Only if Elon sells Tesla to the government!
1
Great work, Brian! So much to learn about the Cybercab!
1
Pretty sure regen. would work fine on a train.
1
A lot will change.
1
I teally love your clever humour!

Kangaroos are the same as deers, if not worse. They bounce a loooong way each time they hit the ground when they're moving at full tilt. There is no way you can avoid them. Just don't drive in an area they inhabit around twilight, morning and evening! That's when they browse for feed on the side of the road, usually just far enough out of sight that you wont see them, and it gives them a bounce or two to get really moving. Emus are another problem here in Oz. Their bodies are mostly at around winscreem height, so they go straight into your face through the windscreen. Not pretty.
1
Happening now, I'd say!
1
@FutureAzA Video and audio quality are both fine for me, but lighting and "set" could do with a refresh, but I'mnot really that fussed. It's what you cover that really matters!
