  1. North Vietnam got a lot of these 57mm AA guns. Was very brutal against US helicopters and low flying aircraft.

  2. Wasnt as spectacular as you'd think or wish. The VC and PAVN suffered horrific losses. The war became unpopular there was no clear strategic goal, the US pulled out and stopped supporting South Vietnam while USSR and China continued to pour heavy military supplies to North Vietnam.
