  1. It's both. A bargain because you get a very decent sub compact for the money with a 1.4 Turbo to boot. But a bust because stupid GM didn't make it a world car to be made and sold globally. You cant make a profit off subcompacts in North America if the costs to make and sell the car is not amortized by global sales. GM will soon discontinue the Sonic.
