@anthonyng3014 The CX-30 makes more sense if you clear your head of the idea that it's meant as an off-road vehicle; it's not. Think of it as a Mazda3 hatchback that fixes that car's problems with claustrophic visibility and lack of cargo space, and throws in AWD as standard. I'd be very interested to see what a mild set of lowering springs would do.

Regarding the BMW, the reason the smallest BMWs aren't driver's cars is that they're built on a front-wheel-drive based platform shared with Mini brand SUVs. If you want the driver's car of SUVs, you have to move up to the X3 that shares the RWD architecture of the 3 Series sedan.

@phunk8607 Yeah, but the dirty secret of the German luxury trio is that they all sell cheap cars in Europe. Audi has a bunch of FWD cars there. Mercedes has trucks and taxis.
