So they can sell your information. Every time you download one of these apps, even youtube, you have to create an account. And when you create an account, you have to accept their terms of service. Nobody ever reads them, because they are super long. And are written super long on purpose, so that nobody will read them. But basically, if you did read it, it says that they will sell your information to third parties. They will probably word it using more unconventional legal jargon that's difficult to understand unless you're a lawyer. But that's essentially what they're saying. I would also stay away from smart devices also because they can literally shut down your device at any time, for any reason. You can't even repair it yourself, and that will void the warranty, and they will brick your device. I'm sure you're well aware about that with tractors.
