And they make even more for every shoe they sell. The people you should be questioning are the tenants. Who are these people paying rent month-after-month just for shelf space to sell their shoes at this store? I'm convinced they're just people who want to show off their sneaker collection, and are willing to pay a store rent, just to show off their collection. They just probably see it as an expense they're willing to pay. Paying $100 a month rent to display their shoes in this store, might just be worth it to them. They view it as being a member in a special club, and those are just the membership fees.
