A little more money, you can have a Macan GTS.
96
That flick of the key to start it was always pure satisfaction.
21
Now I know why you are called Topher Drives. You drive for Topher to get him seats.
15
Just do a custom exhaust and flow master mufflers from a good exhaust shop. Shop can make all the pipes cheap. Thats what I did. Sounded insane. The smiles were pinned at 100 while driving it.
12
Back in the day, I had many friends that had these with over 1000 hp. Miss those days.
9
It’s a little flamboyant!
8
I thought they were brother and sister. They look like each other.
7
As much as I hate Cadillac and love Lexus, get the Blackwing. 100 percent.
4
I love the simplicity and ruggedness of Volvos interior.
4
Funny how futuristic this car was in 2009, but now it’s so dated. Now everything is too modern and it takes away the true character. I miss the classic looks of interiors. I miss dials, switches and buttons.
4
Clean the throttle body.
3
Great video! Ford is gonna sell a lot of these. It’s a better bargain than the Tacoma TRD pro. Plus it’s the only one with a true performance V6.
3
One of the best engines ever.
3
If you want a fun car, M340.
2
That is true. Engines are combustion. Motors are electric. I see some of the best car guys make this mistake a lot.
2
Rs3 is way more fun.
2
Use the key to lock drivers door. Never lock door on inside.
2
I’ve always loved Volvos, especially driving them. Comfortable, solid, and safe. It was the poor reliability over the last 20 years which swayed me away.
2
It wouldn’t even fit. This 5.0 V8 is a longitude mount only engine. Plus it’s way too heavy for a front drive only.
2
A detuned RS3 is detuned. Should be making 600hp. If you want a slower version, get an S3 with a 4 cylinder. The 5 cylinder is an expensive option. Well worth every penny. These will be rare collectors cars in the future. Not many were made.
2
I still love the previous generation more.
2
It’s an RS. Not an S.
1
Best thing about this is the engine. Behind the engine is what hinders this. The transmission is the biggest weak link. Unfortunately it’s a parts bin car. It’s cool they still built it though. It’s a great cruising car. Performance car it is not.
1
These are a huge letdown in power.
1
@calebwany8422 I’m not hating. I like Chris and he does amazing videos. I didn’t know they were a couple.
1
Just get a Lexus.
1
Volvos are not like they used to be. 80’s and 90’s were strong.
1
Like what?
1
It’s would grenade a manual. Convertible would be weird.
1
Just buy a 911. Manual and convertible. Plus you can get manual.
1
@monikhushalpuri They are not that bad on these. Mac also has amazing sound.
1
They drive so amazing.
1
Off-road trucks are never good in poor weather. They are toys to have fun in. Fun truck for the money though.
1
What are the rumors?
1
@xFactoryUSA It might and might not. Looking at all the old 20 year old Lexus’s that are in rough shape, it’s hard to tell. I see 100 times more BMW’s that are 20 years old that are still in phenomenal shape. I with I could say the same for older Lexus’s.
1
Type S if you want a front drive manual or M340 if you want a rear drive biased sedan. The B58 is an awesome engine and the ZF transmission is also amazing. IS500 is good if you want a V8 cruising car. It’s way overpriced at 65k. It would be a better deal at 45k because of the old transmission and old tech. Only the engine is the good point if you love to drive WOT. Driving normal is very boring in it.
1
You just don’t like Audi. Thats what you should say.
1
Extremely shocked to hear that it blew a head gasket. Did it have a leak and lose all coolant?
1
It’s an RS. It’s also not as stiff as some. Seats will get more comfortable as they break in.
1
@cmasupra You should never use it while moving. It also creates flat spots on tires when locking tires up.
1
@cmasupra Yes. So the emergency brakes use drum pads inside the rotors in most modern cars these days. They are a low wear pad, so I wouldn’t use it a lot. Pulling the brake while locking the tires to drift creates the worst flat spots on tires. It’s fun as hell, but kills tires.
