I’ve had my 18 since day one and it’s been amazing with almost 100k on it now. Best car I’ve owned in 35 years of owning tons of cars.

One of the best daily cars I’ve owned in 35 years of driving.

@RLTtizME I’ve had a lot of mustangs and now an RS3. I would take an RS3 over a mustang 100 out of 100 again. Ford doesn’t have the build quality that Audi has. Fit and finish on Audi is also a ton better than mustangs. Traction, the Audi always grabs. Mustangs need to warm the tires and be on good tar. Put a tune and E85 in RS3 and you run low 10’s and high 9’s with ease. Even in rain, they run 10’s. Only thing I miss in mustangs are blowing donuts. Unfortunately these days everyone has cameras and it’s too easy to get in trouble. I know from experience. It was fun while it lasted. Cameras ruined everything. Got tired of cops showing up to my house for things I did to have fun.

@RLTtizME Don’t confuse Audi cheap 4 cylinders to an RS3 for reliability and build. Look at Ford with GT350 with oil consumption issues and blown engines. Two of my good friends popped theirs. Look at Ford with Focus RS. A defective block with a defect cast on water jacket. All popped head gaskets and cracked blocks. That’s why Ford stopped production. Look at a lot of Raptors with vapor lock in engines and bad transmissions. Lots of lemon buy backs. I’ve been in car industry for 38 years now. Fords were great for older mustangs. Newer stuff is just average for build. None of bumpers line up on mustangs, and other cosmetic issues too. I don’t fault them because they are not German built.

They decided to put that money into drivetrain. I’m just happy they still make this. Heard they halted production temporarily. So hopefully all you guys get yours. Amazing car for the money.

My 18 is loud with its factory exhaust. I got pulled over twice for loud exhaust.

True. In US, I see more Lamborghinis than I do RS3’s. I’ve had mine for almost 6 years.

@RLTtizME Haha. Says the guy who owns Ford. I have 100k hard miles on my RS3 with no issues. Not one of my 14 mustangs I owned, did that good under 50k, let alone 100k. Go look at Hank Iroz RS3. He builds these cars and he’s got his running 7’s. Same technology as Lamborghini. These RS3’s are built amazing. Ken Block was even amazed at how well they are made. Hence why he went to Audi after he left Ford. So…..

@RLTtizME Two of the best built and driven cars I’ve driven lately are the RS3 and BMW M340i and others with B58 6 cylinder. 5 cylinder mainly for its tremendous build quality and amazing powerful engine. Yes, parts are more because it’s an exotic drivetrain, but it holds up to amazing abuse. Lamborghini had their hands on building these drivetrains next to the V10 in Audi R8 and Lamborghini Huracan. Hence why 5 cylinders and V10 sound the same. Same tech inside. BMW B58 drivetrain is so amazing too, that Toyota put their name on it with the new Supra. Lexus might use the drivetrain next. Make tons of power and a super solid platform and drivetrain. German cars have come a long way. They finally nailed it to perfection. Only Porshe is still the pinnacle.

@RLTtizME The best built car this day and every car enthusiast will also agree with me is Porsche. They build some of the most insane cars and most extreme built cars ever. Quality and precision are on another level of perfection and performance. Same family as VW and Audi. Things have trickled down from them into Audis now. The first Audi built RS car was RS2 built by Porsche for Audi. Hence why the most diehard car guys have such a weak spot for Audi RS Rally cars back in the day. They dominated rally racing. Ken block had some nice Audi rally cars before he passed. His daughter Lia bought one as her first car. Go watch Ken Block race his Hoonicorn Mustang against Hank Iroz with his RS3. Awesome video. A twin turbo V8 race car vs a 5 cylinder single turbo almost street car. Learn about real automotive history and stay up to date.

Then it would be slower. This trans is what makes it so fast. Same with Lamborghini and why they ditched slow manuals. It’s all about gout fast.

These cars are underpriced for what you get. These are also one of the best tuning monsters. A tune and proper fuel, these will beat supercars.

@RLTtizME You telling me I’m triggered? I’m far from triggered. I just bombed you with facts and knowledge. I’ve owned a lot of cars in my life. I have a ton of experience with muscle cars all the way to exotic cars. I’ve worked on and driven almost all of them. Now you tell me to move along? You are the one who’s triggered. Your comments proves it. When a person tells you to move along, subconsciously they are flustered by the other persons knowledge and have no comeback and resort to name calling or a push off with words (IE move along). I was only trying to share some wisdom and knowledge with you. No need to get flustered.

@Apollo-gu6zx It’s been amazing. I have over 100k on it. I replaced brake pads once, tires and regular maintenance. I’m still on stock rotors. Engine has been phenomenal. Definitely my best daily driver so far. Gonna keep it another year till I find out what I want next. Longest car I’ve ever owned. 6.5 years now. I do maintenance myself so it’s not bad. At dealer it’s probably double than a Honda. But that’s to be expected as it holds more fluids. What cars are you looking at?

@RLTtizME You probably don’t even have a car kiddo.

@ChrisRogersTheAngryChef what don’t exist? A fee of my friends have this newer one. I have an 18 myself.

@ChrisRogersTheAngryChef three people I know have a 23 RS3. They got theirs early.

These cars totaled are still going for 35-40k. This has a 30k drivetrain. Lamborghini technology trickled down.
