  1. AWD is a huge bonus. Going from a 200 hp SI front wheel peel with snows to an AWD RS3 with double the hp, I notice superior traction that’s mind blowing with even bald snow tires. Snow tires are great, but AWD with snow tires are a tremendous night and day difference and that’s with double the hp. So anyone who says AWD doesn’t have a huge advantage over front drive, has no clue. AWD in the rain is spectacular. In the snow with snow tires on both cars, the front drive still torque steers badly. The AWD is all go and no drama. Plus it saves on tires. E AWD is not the same as mechanical, but it’s still better than front drive only. Mechanical AWD can also help push you through the turns as well. So snow tires do help on front drive, but AWD is next level. Snow tires on an AWD is many levels above next level. Those who say there is not much difference has not had an AWD. Simple as that.

  3.  @waterloo123100 older civics were very light and tin feeling. They also were slow, plus the steering ratio was long. Plus they were prone to rot out. The new hybrid model is so much quicker, better handling, and 100 times better in accidents. It’s a massive difference.
