GSP is bigger than Khabib walking weight. Look at the two of them meeting a few times. Whatever Khabib is, GSP is 20 over him.

It’s also reach. Khabib didn’t have the long reach as most 170 guys. He matched up with 155 better. When he came to UFC, he was easy 155. He had to be discipline and maintain that weight throughout his whole career. Usman was champ at 170 and said he wouldn’t fight Khabib. So no point in moving up. Usman and Khabib were extremely close like family. They trained a lot together.

GSP vs Khabib would have been the highest ppv event ever. The dream fight. Those two are everyone’s favorites. Silva is right there too.

Every opponent knew his game plan. They studied it. They trained for it. They were ready for it. Their game plan went out than windows the moment Khabib walked them down and mauled them into a helpless little kid that never fought. They all had a plan to give his first bruise. They all failed. @JickFincter George would be unhealthy at 155. Khabib was borderline because he loves to eat. His father always have him a hard time for it. If Khabib did move to 170, he would have been even better. It sucks that Usman and him were too close of friends. They trained together at Ali’s house behind closed doors. Usman has too big of an ego to show Khabib submitting him in training. That’s one thing I don’t like Usmam for. I was shocked to see Kamaru Usman helping Usman Nurmogamedov training for his title fight. Khabib asked him to help his cousin. There is a video of that but doesn’t show too much. Kamaru doesn’t like to be recorded. Khabib also just did a grappling match for fun up against a HW pro. He did great. Maybe we could see a GSP and Khabib grappling match next year. Better than nothing.

@slavetosevski6179 Khabib never said he would lose at 170. He couldn’t go to 170 because Usman was there as champ. Usman said he would never fight Khabib.

Everyone knew the plan. Once you are on that cage, Khabib is one step ahead. He’s a mind reader. His fight IQ is off the charts. His laser focused eagle eyes are unmatched. This is why he never got a mark on him. So happy to see his cousins fighting. Usman and Umar are spectacular and even better well rounded fighters. They are brutal. They can strike with their feet.

@snoopythedog3266 Do you watch his cousins Umar and Usman? Those kids are spectacular. Usman is 155 champ in Belator at only 24 years old. Umar is next. They are the best fighters to come from that camp. Both undefeated.
