  5. ā Ā @PolandMappingĀ The whole car is BMW with Toyota design on body and badges on exterior. All chassis says BMW. Itā€™s actually not a bad thing. BMW makes great cars. The B58 is one of their best drivetrains. Rock solid and bulletproof.

  7. Ricky on the streets where it will be driven the most, 0-60 is fun light to light. Unless you are buying this for a track car, it will be slow on the streets.

  8. I really wanted the RS, but I can't stand the interior and sport mode which is the fun mode is too harsh for the roads. Two of my friends have them and it's a good looking car outside. I ended up getting a DSG Golf R and love it. It is a perfect car for me with great road manners. Dcc and race mode makes it super fun. Tuned just transforms it into a crazy hatch. Great ergonomics and materials inside where I'm at 100 miles a day.

  9. Fadic 4 If I was on the track everyday, then it would be awesome. It's a one trick pony. I can already see the future videos of them getting smoked on the streets. You know everyone is going to be messing with this thing on the streets. Seeing that some dealers are asking $60k for them is laughable. If they were actually sold for $35k, then it would make sense for a lot of people.

  10. Karl Fontanari are you asking if the TTRS is better than a M235? It's in a whole different league. It's not even comparable. šŸ˜‚ The M235 is a drivers performance car on a budget. The TTRS is a super car on a budget which car touch super cars. It's insane!

  11. As a Porsche guy I would take the Supra over a Caymen. 911 is what makes Porsche good. The Supra is much faster than the Caymen and sounds better. Much cooler looking in person too.

  20. James N Itā€™s been discussed. They could have built their own car, but would have been 120k plus like GTR. With GTR poor sales, Toyota decided not to. You canā€™t build a limited car with a bespoke chassis and engine for only that one particular model cheap. Shared platforms bring cost down.

  36. fusion01wp Actually Iā€™ve been around a lot of car groups and these RS3 owners are the best of the bunch. Most of them owned very fast manual cars. There is a good group of guys who will be running 9ā€™s in the 1/4 soon on stock internals. Daily driven too. 10ā€™s are already easy with bolt ons. 9ā€™s with a bigger turbo kit.

  41. Auto Drive mode is the weakest slow engine transmission settings. Put it in sport and these come alive. Drive mode is for economy.

  45. Andrew Hoffman An auto WRX versus a DSG Audi are far worlds different. The DSG is extremely rapid hard shifts literally launching the car into the next gear. You can actually feel it jumping a car length on each shift. I was a full manual guy, but damn these DSGā€™s are superb. It would be a blast if they did make a stick RS3.
