  2. Majority of buyers are all tech savvy people and want everything on a touch pad. They hate old fashioned knobs and dials. Majority of buyers want TikTok built in. It’s also a lot cheaper for Toyota to build everything into a screen. Less mechanical parts.

  6. Most owners want all touch controls on a screen. You gotta get with the times. In Reddit they had a poll with knobs vs touch pads. They said knobs are too masculine and they wanted touch control because it’s gender neutral.

  7. It’s actually less moving mechanical parts to fail. So less to break. Most people want touch controls. Climate control should be set at an auto number to gain maximum efficiency with hybrid. Set it and forget it. It will also be controlled by voice action (hey Toyota).
