  3.  @rodneynasir8089  I’ve known a lot of people who’ve had them. Some have no issues at all and some have some minor stuff wrong. I’ve been a mechanic for 35 years and I know they used to be crap. Now they are getting just as good as Honda. Yes I said Honda. Honda is the one who’s suffering with cats blowing up badly lately. Honda doesn’t build them anymore like they used to. Sad. Honda has a crappy 36k warranty. Toyota and Mazda have highest quality and then Lexus.

  6.  @1976axerhand  You make it sound like thousands have burned. Only a handful. Look at all the Hondas that burned. GM vehicles have burned way more. Dodge too. Ford had a ton. Nothing is stopping people from buying them. Kia and Hyundai just had an amazing year in sales. They beat out Honda by a lot. Especially in SUV sales. Kia Telluride is on a huge back order. Most in demand SUV right now. My friend owns a dealership and told me they can’t even manufacture enough of them. Most people only care about looks and longest warranty. Lemon law protects people very easy these days. Three strikes and it goes back. Easy.

  7.  @1976axerhand  look at Honda lately. 1.8’s are all blowing head gaskets. Honda 9 and 10 speeds all issues. Honda mmi units all defective. Civic clutches paper thin. Acura is having a ton of issues. Post COVID ruined all cars. This is why 2019 and older cars went up in value. This is why I stick with German cars. Faster, reliable if you get right drivetrain, and built like a tank.

  8.  @rodneynasir8089  Every manufacturer has issues. None of them are in good shape lately. This is why I stick with German cars. Just stay away from the 4 cylinders. My Audis all have been exceptionally amazing.

  9.  @1976axerhand  Sorry. Meant Honda 1.5. Lots of my clients have BMW’s and don’t have issues. You just have to buy the right models. Older BMW’s have had their fair share of issues. Newer one have been so much better. All the newer. maw’s with the B58 engine are amazing. Great transmissions too. Toyota even put their seal of approval on it with Supra badge. Anything with a B58 is amazing. I have a built Audi RS3 with 100k. I pound it hard daily. Best car I’ve owned out of 100 plus cars I’ve had since 1989. My next vehicle will be an Audi SQ8. Very fast and handles great. Best bargain for 100k.

  10.  @1976axerhand  My friend traded his MDX Type S in for a BMW X5 last year. His MDX has transmission issues and kept dying. It had a short in wiring harness they couldn’t fix after multiple times. So they bought it back without making it a lemon. He loves the X5. He loves the transmission and engine combo along with great handling. He also got extended warranty.
