It’s funny when the original M2 came out, all the reviewers gave it amazing reviews. Now that the Comp is out, all the reviewers are now complaining about the issues with the original M2 and that it didn’t feel special. I don’t know who to believe anymore.

For it’s segment, they are a value. You have McLaren, Ferrari, Lamborghini and all are auto. This is a purist car with a manual. Nothing to really compare it too.

I drove my friend’s orange Elite. I love it. Very capable on our trails. AWD is a lot more beefed up. It looks so good in person. The Elite wheels look amazing, especially for stock wheels. Honda nailed it out of the park. Hondas new designers need to keep upgrading everything else.

@povertyspec9651 So are 99 percent 4Runners with widdle wadders on the back.
11
@augustortiz That will be a huge seller. Toyota buyers will come over to buy them up. Tacoma trucks are not selling at all.

@povertyspec9651 Took my buddies out in the steep trails. It had zero issues. We both were extremely shocked at how well the AWD was. It’s extremely comfortable inside. Lots of room, unlike the 4Runner. Plus it has no frame to rot and rust. It suits all his needs. He has an old Jeep for rock crawling. Honda definitely did a lot of work on it. Definitely needs a 3 inch lift and he is installing it soon. Most people won’t even take these off road. It’s same way with millions of 4Runners sold. 2024 and older 4Runners drive like crap. People just want to pose in them with a crappy ride. Passport drives amazing!

@MisoElEven The Mexican made are the most reliable BMW’s ever made. Most reliable Mexican cars made. This and M340.

@RyanPerlmanCooks getting in and out of rear seats in 4Runner Pro is a nightmare. The rear arch comes halfway into the entrance. Ingress and egress is tough for older people and putting kids is child seats. Not fun at all. Lots of cheap plastics on 4Runner. Interior is crammed and claustrophobic with all the angles of cheap plastics. No flat floor, tight back seat room. They made it bigger on outside, but smaller on inside. Slanted windshield takes up all the added interior room and then some. My buddies didn’t come with those bumper led track bar. They ran out of parts. They didn’t even give him a discount and won’t get in parts. They said they didn’t make it to manufacturing. Parts may vary. Now my buddy is dealing with corporate. Looks amazing and very menacing though.

@andrewgus8763 you are driving a 2007 Camry with 245k. I think you came here to justify why you can’t afford a 60k car. 😂

@baronvonjo1929 I’ve had lots of different cars over 35 years of driving. I also own an automotive business for 30 years. German cars are the best made cars. Porsche is the leader, then Audi and BMW. The B58 drivetrain in the BMW’s are amazing. Toyota is now using it and helped with designing it even better. Lexus is in talks of using the same drivetrain. I would never touch Volvo again. The old ones were the best. New Volvos are crap. Genesis is just an expensive Hyundai. Parts are a lot more than German cars. I know. I work on them. Kia is same company. Lots of issues and bugs. Lexus is reliable, but very boring. Super expensive parts. GM and Ford are crap cars. Dodge is crap and high theft. Nissan and infinity are crap still. Honda has fell off the map with boring cars and all CVT. Only good thing they make are Pilots, Passports, and minivans with the V6 and a real torque converter transmission. Everything else they make has slow CVT. Subaru has weak engines, and awful CVT. Mazda makes very reliable cars, but boring and slow. Porshe makes the best vehicles hands down. Audi is up there too as of recent. Lamborghini is my favorite. V10 drivetrain is so robust and bulletproof. It’s an Audi now and that’s a great thing for them now. Extremely well built! Ferrari is good, but needs lots of frequent maintenances often. I hate their new haptic feedback buttons everywhere. Especially the start/stop button now. Worst design ever. McLaren is bad build. Always find loose nuts and bolts everywhere. Very temperamental. Range Rover. Just stay away.

@trahar6257 I love how wide it is. Looks so menacing!
3
They nailled it out of the park.

@notfunny3397 now they need to update the Accord. It’s ugly. CRV needs a better update. Ridgeline is next. A TS Ridgeline in orange and green would look insane. A huge seller for Honda. Pilot looks good. Civic hatch hybrid looks and drive excellent! Prelude needs a little more excitement and 250 hp hybrid. 320 hp type R prelude would be sweet. Passport TS is a true winner.
3
I like this way more than I should too.
3
@Blank00 Many new 10 speeds are having issues. Many are being traded in, especially the MDX. Lots of them had issues in Odyssey. So not sure what Honda will do.

2:40 Hooker?

I’m around a lot of exotic cars and this is my favorite of them all. Four more years I hope to get one.
2
Best thing to happen to Lamborghini was Audi. Amazing cars! Sad the R8 is gone, but glad that Huracans are being sold at a higher volume now.
2
@ErwinSchrodinger64 a supercharger would wake it up. Sound insane too.
2
Daniel Slagle just hold in paddle and it will drop to the lowest gear that is safe.
2
Gandalf721 I drive it hard often. Still loving it. It’s just a great road car that’s comfortable to be in for hours at a time. The most impressive part is the big power it makes with a tune and E85.
2
Wrap full nose in Xpel Clear Film. Wrap hood in Xpel Stealth film for the satin look. I’ve done lots of these cars. The factory hood is only wrapped in cheap vinyl wrap. Stealth film makes it look amazing. Opti-Coat Pro Plus is amazing on these paints.

@DM-fp8uw That’s why people are backing out on new cars. That’s also why used cars are climbing up in value. Another reason why mechanics are so busy fixing older cars. People will do whatever to keep them going. This is the beginning of the death of the automobile industry. It’s their own fault. Ford did it years ago with Focus RS and marking the price up. Sales became poor in the US because of it. Then they were cursed with bad karma with the car blowing engines as a result.
2
@DM-fp8uw Honda killed their sales years ago with marking up the prices of Type R. They literally wanted 60k for one as the price was originally 32k. I was gonna buy one as a cheap fun car, but they scared me away with marking it up. I ended up buying a new Audi RS3 for the same price as the Type R marked up price and I got 5k off on the RS3. A 100 times better car overall compared to Type R and a hell of a lot faster. 100 times more classy too. I thank Honda for pushing me this way. That day Honda lost sales in my whole family. I’m now an Audi guy and will remain one. No mark ups and I get a better product for my money. Honda ruined their image and sales. They will continue to do so too. They want to mark up a car that’s stripped down for US market. I don’t think so! Good thing I did research and know that the stock clutch won’t even handle a tune and mods (only 250 hp) embarrassing. They skimped out on quality parts to make more profit. Honda lost its edge!
2
@karacha a huge Win for Honda and owners. That orange and green ones look spectacular in person. Interiors are amazing. Drive amazing too. I might look at getting one now.
2
Alpha has horrendous reliability. Many have been lemon lawed.
2
😂
2
It’s slow. CVT is sloooow.
2
Sport mode in most cars raises the RPM and allow for manual shift to stay in manual. In D, you pull a paddle to use to pass and it will then go back to auto. That’s how it should be. There’s no electronic suspension to change in sport. It’s only engine performance to stay at its peak range.
2
Honda wanted to get rid of tuners. They hate that their name is tarnished by tuners and street racers.
2
So the US is over charging on mark ups, while they took away options?! I’m sure next year, they will add back the options.
2
“I think you are over reacting and need your walker”! 🤣 Best line ever!
2
@alexion7160 The design of the TLX S engine is bottlenecked with small head ports. So you will not be getting any big gains of tuning. Plus it’s 10 speed is a very weak link. Honda chose it as a cost cutting transmission they build themselves to balance inflation. If you want 400hp plus from a TLX, prepare to take heads off, open them up with large porting and polishing. Change manifold and turbo. About 20k job. Only problem is transmission will definitely blow. Acura won’t warranty it as it will be tuned and modded. So this is what makes the B58 an amazing option. It can be tuned easy and it can handle high abuse. The Acura can’t.
2
This is so Isuzu. Another fail.
2
You’ll put 120k miles on it not needing too much. Honda will need a timing belt at 100k which will cost 1500. Let alone other parts needed. 10 speed transmission in Hondas are still problematic. Hondas are not as reliable as they used to be.
2
It’s up.

I've seen a lot of reviews in my life, but this is the best style one. The good, the bad, the ugly, and the ok. I love how honest and direct you are. Kudos and keep them coming!
1
Have you heard of the cracked block issues happening recently?
1
ImRIckJames There are a bunch of guys on the forums and videos of guys popping engines. There is a few videos on here showing the problems. Good thing that Ford is fixing them with a revised block.
1
So under powered for 2023.
1
Honda is definitely changing for the best lately. Now they need to bring back some faster manuals.

Learn how to write. You obviously have no clue on this truck and have to throw a comment about hair scrunchies. It sounds like you are jealous and have no money and are a little boy. Get educated!
1
Gizmo Thewytchdoktor wow, you sound like you’re 10 years old. I’m not a fanboy of any company. I love all brands because I am a real car guy. I know a lot of racers and I highly doubt you are wealthy and a racer. I deal with wealthy people all day and nobody talks like you. You’re a weirdo.
1
@TKqb4 true. Only five percent of us can handle that much power. As the generations get softer and weaker, high speed will be a thing of the past. Back in the day it was 90 percent of us couldn’t get our muscle cars fast enough. 600 hp wasn’t enough and all of us drive like lunatics. We all had nitrous in our blood. At 51, I still do more than ever before. These days, young guys can’t handle it.
1
@baronvonjo1929 Problem with Genesis is reliably. Genesis are known to have issues. Ask any mechanic who works on them.
1
@adamsmith-wi3qg The old 3 series were awesome. Great driving cars too. Their values have been going up a lot.
1
@baronvonjo1929 What car do you own?
1
They are going full electric. Most likely Type R is done too.
1
It’s built by GM
1
All companies are having this issue. GM has similar set up and they are all failing. Stay away from anything with cylinder deactivation.
