what? His guitar skills isn't so great to be in shred list. He even talked about it himself. If it wasnt Gn'R I think he'd never become famous. He must say thank you to Axl for being famous.

@harveygalloway2595 Fact one: He can compose and play nice solos over other people's songs, it's true. Fact two: He can't compose whole good song. So hardly too many people even know his solo works. He's still known mostly as former G n'R guitarist. Even Velvet Revolver was not so bad as his solo works. Moreover he has too few solo albums what's not typical for good duitarists. Fact three: Every other guitarist on the planet shreds from time to time but it doesn't mean that he can claim some positions in the top charts. He's definitly not the best technically.

@harveygalloway2595 Did you miss what I wrote sveral minutes ago? Almost every guitarist on this planet tries to shred! Even I tried to shred while playing the guitar a long time ago ))) So maybe I'm a shredder? ) No!

Slash is below average. After he'd left G'n'R he didn't make anything that would be interesting. But in G'n'R he have done not much if you'd look in the credits.
