  1. Lived in Finland for 3 month after leaving Russia. Although I have been to Finland many times, I was convinced once again that the Finns are wonderful people. They don’t judge you by the criminal government of your country. Thank you! It is a pity that Russians no longer have the opportunity to visit Finland. This is my favorite country I wish I lived in.

  2. Yes. I regularly visited Helsinki from Saint-Petersburg. There’s much warmer in Helsinki in most cases.

  3. In fact there’s many regions in Finland which are more warmer than most of the regions of Russia. The fact that country is located further north doesn’t automatically mean that it’s colder. Helsinki is much warmer in winter that Saint-Petersburg for example.

  4. There’s pretty many ethnic Swedes live in Finland. So some Finns are definitely Scandinavians.
