  3. Paul, move to Canada or a US state where weed is legal. You can grow some up here in Canada (4 plants max at a time) and it's 100% legal as long as you never sell it, you need a license to do that.

  4. In all fairness, if you do hard drugs like heroin you have to accept the high probability of death from overdose. It goes with the territory. It doesn't make any difference if it's legal or not.

  5.  @superlight7654  Drugs themselves will educate anyone about the dangers of drugs. You don't need anyone to educate you about the dangers of standing in the middle of a highway during rush hour. Anyway, I'm not inclined to think anyone gets high because they think it's ok or cool. They do it because it makes them high.

  6. Possibly, but it can also be rooted in the need to not be bored to death. Never would have tried drugs myself if I hadn't grown up in the public school system, I don't like doing drugs because they're not good for you. But, if your entire developmental life is persistently marked by excruciating levels of sheer boredom and drudgery, it 'poisons' your mind and everything else in life feels that way, too--it causes depression. So, I'm off to roll myself a joint.

Despite lip-service to the contrary, Canada is a totalitarian authoritarian state. No wonder there are so many stoners here. I'm going to go roll a joint right now.

  8.  @Chelle8847  N.O.H.I basically applies to any crime against a person that's not extremely wealthy or of unusual physical attractiveness. There's nothing rare about it. Nobody cares about a fat, balding electrician or welder that was found dead in a field somewhere and didn't leave behind a 400-million-dollar estate.

  9. Problem with that is it becomes an organization linked to government, and that means corruption--he can catch some pedophiles, but is expected to protect other ones that are connected to the government and police.
