  1. These engines are supposed to be watercooled, those little brass fittings are for cooling water. Running it without cooling will probably wreck it. Anyway, if it produces 0.7 HP from 2.4cc, that's almost 300 HP per litre of displacement! These little puppies are about $500 USD, or about $700 for a twin-rotor version.

  2. If all you do is look for the max torque RPM, then you're running it far too slowly to reach max HP. The torque peak occurs first, then max HP is reached at much higher RPM.

  3.  @WarpedYT  Ok, 1.25 HP sounds pretty low. These engines are a novelty more than anything, in very small displacements the best power (and fuel efficiency) is achieved with a single cylinder.

  4. The smallest engines that can be turbocharged start at about 20 HP NA output, and use the GT06 turbo (smallest you can get)... Anything smaller than that, and you have to use a shaft-driven supercharger. There isn't enough exhaust gas to power the turbo.

  5. Oh man, my condolences. A hobby like this ain't cheap. Since it's a starter clutch failure, they should replace it under warranty.
