@makingitthrough190 A Watt is a unit of physical power, it can be electrical, mechanical or even thermal (heat) or light, or sound.
If you have an electrical power source, the power in Watts is the voltage times current. So, a 12-volt light bulb using 5 amperes of current (like a car headlight) would be 12V x 5A = 60 Watts of power.
In physics, energy is the amount of physical change that can occur, or has already occurred. Heating an object up or cooling it down, speeding something up or slowing it down, that sort of deal--it means energy has been transferred (physical work has been done.)
Power is how quickly energy is transferred--alternatively, how quickly physical change occurs--how quickly physical work gets done, if you wish.
A Watt of power is one Joule of energy per second. One Joule is the energy needed to change the temperature of one gram of pure water by 0.24 degrees C.
So, if you heat up or cool down a gram of water 0.24C per second, that's one Watt of power.
