One thing to keep in mind is that in order to have a sustainable (i.e. money-making) business in mass-produced consumer gadgetry, it`s necessary to minimize costs while still reaching an acceptable level of quality--and, of course producing the required number of gadgets to fill market needs and establish your brand. Regardless of where your company is based, when it comes to mass-producing a gazillion consumer gadgets at absolute rock-bottom prices, it`s just not possible to beat the Chinese. No-one does it better than them, not only because they have the knowledge and experience to do it, but also because huge numbers of them are willing to work for low wages, and their government doesn`t impose excessive taxes on their manufacturing businesses. So, having things mass-produced in China just makes perfect business sense.
