  7. Some cops are exceptional marksmen, some couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with a 10-gauge shotgun. Most are going to be somewhere in-between.

  9.  @rixyz7013  I know, but it's kind of a damned if you do, damned if you don't situation. If the guy gets away because you scared him off with your gun, he could just be back with a gun of his own (and half a dozen armed gang members) looking for vengeance. If you call the police to come and get the body, you're the #1 suspect for obvious reasons.
